Uganda Mountain Gorilla Photo Tour 2021/2022
It's been a little over a year since our trip to Uganda with Isolde, but the impressions we gained are still present.
As a group tour guided for the first time, we were curious how we would like it as a family. Isolde and her team organized everything perfectly, the tips before the trip were super helpful and we didn't miss anything during the trip either. We also had a lot of fun with Vicent our driver. It was such a great, impressive trip that we can recommend to everyone and a piece of our heart has stayed in Uganda. If we come back again or if we end up in Tanzania, we would always travel with Isolde again. Thank you Isolde for an incredible trip that we will never forget.

With Isolde to Uganda's mountain gorillas 2021
After some research, Isolde's offer and flexibility for the long-planned trekking to the mountain gorillas as part of a guided photo tour through Uganda convinced me. The special feature: Isolde's trips are not off-the-shelf goods, but all hand-picked by her, tried out and of course carried out by her. Isolde not only has a great passion for this region of the world, she now also has an excellent network in the country that can make almost any special request possible.

Uganda mountain gorillas, January 2020 and northern Uganda 21, photo group tours
My two trips to Uganda in January 20 to see the mountain gorillas and in February/March 21 to northern Uganda with Isolde were great experiences. Accompanied by the competent, experienced and knowledgeable drivers and guides Georg, Vicent and Jones I got to know the country and its people, fauna and flora. I was particularly impressed by the way of life and the friendliness of the residents. The stays in the great lodges from simple to luxury everything very well organized.
I particularly liked traveling in small groups with plenty of space in the jeeps as they are never fully occupied.
Thank you Isolde. Oh, and there was no shortage of socializing either. Planning another trip with Isolde in the near future.

Tanzania October 2020 - Photo Group Tour
Dear Isolde, in October 2020, thanks to you, my big childhood dream came true. The river crossing in the Serengeti was just impressive and emotional for me. But the rest of the trip, such as Mkomazi, Tarangire, etc. were beautiful. How warmly we were received in this beautiful country. The driver guides and the "pop-up roof" safari vehicles were also great. The vehicles were equipped with sufficient bean bags and sockets for charging mobile phones, batteries, etc. Our driver guides Edson and Deo were just great.

Uganda mountain gorillas, November 2021, individual trip
Many thanks to Isolde who organized the trip for us 4 women!
We came back totally thrilled, such a beautiful, wonderful country with its lovely people, it was just great!
The animal world is also exciting, once in your life seeing a chimpanzee or gorilla in your area gives you goosebumps!
In all lodges we were treated like queens and each one had its own special charm.
With George we had an experienced guide and driver who drove us safely and competently. We really appreciated his enormous knowledge in all areas! Thanks to him too!
I really hope that it won't be my last trip to Uganda and of course I would only book through Isolde!!!

Tanzania – August 2020
In October 2019, Isolde was looking for travel companions for a Tanzania safari. What immediately appealed to me was that the trip is particularly interesting for (hobby) photographers because of the longer stays in the Serengeti and Tarangire NP. According to my taste! I've wanted to go to the Serengeti for a long time. In my mind's eye I already saw myself flying over the endless expanses of the savannah in Michael Grzimek's zebra-striped single-engine plane……. Booked immediately. Then Corona came. This gave us some "flight turbulence" and excitement before take-off. We had to manage several rebookings regarding the date and the route, and thank God Isolde was actively at our side.
At the end of July we started and we first acclimatized a bit in Arusha with Franziska before we headed towards the Serengeti. For all of us, the sighting of the wildebeest river crossing was the focus. We had plenty of time for safaris and watching the wildebeest migration. Our patience was rewarded. It was a unique, impressive and unforgettable experience to be able to watch the animals crossing the Mara River. Pure moments of happiness!!
Although I have already been able to take part in 3 safaris in Africa, I have never seen a cheetah until then. That's why it was another highlight for me that we saw this graceful animal strutting past in front of our jeeps. A real diva who, one could almost have thought so, was fully aware of her effect and posed for us!
On our trip many had great moments observing the magnificent wildlife, and no creature was too small or too ugly for us not to be extensively admired and photographed.
Packed with wonderful impressions, we all landed safely back in Europe after 14 days.
I would like to thank Isolde for the thoughtful preparation of the trip and above all for the many exciting travel stories with which she entertained me in the most excellent way.

Uganda Mountain Gorilla Group Tour 20/21:
I got to know Isolde on fb and was enthusiastic about the idea of doing my first safari trip and having a photographer with me who could teach me a little more know-how about animal photography. With the help of my roommate, with whom I got along very well right away, and the setting up of the WhatsApp group, I had a good feeling of having arrived in the group without seeing each other beforehand.
The organization of the trip was great. Not everything went according to plan, but with good ideas and the great flexibility of the group, there were always great solutions. The contact with the locals and avoiding the larger groups of tourists made the trip something special.
I was very enthusiastic about the country, the landscape, the animals and especially about the people. You are all so adorable. I felt very comfortable and safe from the start.
For me, this journey was one of the most impressive, heart-touching journeys that I have undertaken in a long time. Many thanks Isolde.

Uganda mountain gorilla group tour 20/21
My trip to the gorillas in December/January 2020/2021 was terrific.
After all the uncertainties with Corona, this trip turned into a wonderful experience
and will not be forgotten.
I was very impressed by the variety of animals, landscape and people in Uganda.
Isolde was a competent tour guide with extensive knowledge and
years of experience.
The lodges were wonderful, even if there was a lack of warm water......

Northern Uganda trip Feb/March 2021
I spontaneously decided to go on this trip on my own at short notice. Isolde immediately established contact with the roommate and other participants in advance, so that I felt extremely welcome and never alone from the start. The program exceeded my expectations and we enjoyed unexpected encounters with wonderful people and many animals, some of them extremely rare. There was always enough time to take pictures, marvel, enjoy and relax. The lodges were chosen with great care and we were able to support the local operators directly. Although Uganda is one of the poorest countries in the world, we always felt safe and welcome everywhere. The food was balanced, plentiful and extremely tasty. Anyone who has taken a look into the kitchen knows the conditions under which freshly cooked food is prepared every day and admires the excellent hygienic conditions. As an enthusiastic amateur photographer, I appreciated the places and times Isolde chose to get the motifs in the best possible light in front of the lens. The whole trip was perfectly organized by Isolde from AZ, the drivers showed above-average qualities in the sometimes rough terrain and the guides found every lion and leopard, no matter how well camouflaged. The whole package convinced me so much that I will do gorilla trekking again with Isolde and her outstanding team at the end of December. Even individual wishes are taken into account on site if possible without hurting the interests of the group. I warmly recommend a trip with Isolde to anyone who still feels a bit of a thirst for adventure, likes to be off the beaten path and still doesn’t want to miss anything.

Group trip to the mountain gorillas July 2021
In July 2021 I took part in the gorilla journey. I had booked half a double room and through Isolde I got in touch with my future roommate before the trip. The Whatsapp group set up by Isolde gave you the feeling that you already knew everyone you were traveling with when you started your journey.
The trip was perfectly organized, the lodges were all very well chosen, everything was just right.
The group consisted of 5 people, plus Isolde and a guide. We had 2 jeeps, so everyone had plenty of space to take photos while driving and during the game drives.
Our two drivers George and Vicent were very experienced, helpful and humorous and I always felt that I was in good and safe hands. Even in the most impassable terrain, they discovered animals that we would hardly have seen ourselves.
We visited places that no other travel company goes to and we often came into contact with locals. After the gorilla trip, my roommate and I booked the trip to the north in a somewhat shorter form, which we were very happy about after our experience with the first tour. We were traveling together with our driver George and here too everything was perfect from start to finish. So we were traveling in this beautiful country for a total of 4 weeks and there was not a day where we stopped laughing. It's true, a trip to fall in love with, because I've fallen madly in love with this amazing country.
I can recommend Isolde's trips to anyone who doesn't just want to follow the paths prescribed by tourism.

Northern Uganda Group Tour 2021
We were a couple in February 21 with Isolde in northern Uganda. We had great animal encounters and learned so much about the country. Even though we're not great photographers, we enjoyed sitting in the car with only four of us and therefore having a lot of space when observing the animals. Our 2 drivers and Jones the guide discovered animals that we would never have seen, drove safely and carefully and accompanied us through the journey with a lot of humor and knowledge. We really enjoyed our time in Uganda because everything was well organized, we always felt safe and both fellow travelers and crew were great. Since we are otherwise individual travelers, we were very pleasantly surprised and if it should be a group trip again, Isolde would be happy to organize it. A clear recommendation for us.

Private trip Uganda June 2021
I spontaneously wanted to go to Uganda in June 21 and therefore phoned Isolde, who drew my attention to Facebook.
I was quickly impressed by their knowledge of this country and I booked an individual 2-week tour on my own.
When I got there, I met my driver, John, whom Isolde had organized. He was very concerned about me and it
a friendship quickly developed.
During the round trip, I soon realized that I had beautiful, individually selected accommodation.
We visited places that are not in the program for a trip put together by the travel agency.
We were completely flexible and could, for example, simply postpone two items on the program depending on the weather.
I particularly liked the fact that Isolde was always available and very helpful. It makes a trip so much easier when you have good tips and advice.
I would recommend everyone to book this trip through Isolde. It was just fantastic!!!
